Looking to share something you
learned?
Sign up with the form below and we will set-up, advertise, and host your workshop for you.
How we will set up the workshops:
1. If you have an idea for a workshop, panel, or demonstration, start off by filling out the instructor sign up form.
2. Once we have received your submission, our FIRST Online coordinators will coordinate a Zoom meeting with you to make sure you are well informed about how the workshop will work, as well as discuss how to improve the overall quality of your workshop.
3. After the meeting, instructors should have decided on a workshop date, be informed on Zoom specifics, and have a high quality workshop prepared. If needed, multiple Zoom meeting will occur before we can certify your workshop is ready to be advertised.
4. Once your workshop is certified. Our FIRST Online Coordinators will set up the sign up form, create a workshop description, and advertise your workshop on social media.
5. At the day of the workshop, we will assign one technician to be on-call during the Zoom call to handle technical issues with the audience. We expect instructors to be ready and on-call at least 30 minutes before the Zoom meeting in order to sort out all technical issues.
6. After the Zoom meeting, in order to make communications easier we would like to use our FIRST Online Discord. We will also be using Discord to setup a back channel during your workshop should the technician need to warn you of something while you are presenting.
7. After your workshop, the FIRST Online Coordinators will upload the recording of your workshop to the Almond Robotics youtube channel and add any resources your team may have to share in the resources tab on this website.
